The United Nations special envoy for Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed told the Security Council that Yemen is facing the worst cholera epidemic in the world while fourteen million people in the country are in desperate need of food.
He also warned that the conflict in Yemen is intensifying daily, urging all parties to act for the sake of peace as the opportunity to reach peace in Yemen is not yet lost.
He said terrorist groups are also expanding in the country due to the conflict.
