Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday reserved verdict on the question of maintainability of a petition seeking the names of those appearing in Panama Leaks on Exit Control List (ECL).

The LHC heard a petition filed for court orders to the Interior Ministry to put the names of those 259 people whose name appeared in Panama Leaks on ECL.

After hearing arguments of the petitioners and government law officer about maintainability of the petition the court reserved its verdict.

The petitioner has pleaded the court to order putting the name of all those 259 important Pakistanis whose names had appeared in Panama leaks.

The petitioner argued that the JIT constituted by the court over the Panama Leaks issue had submitted its report to the apex court.

He argued that the JIT did not take any action against anyone except prime minister and his family members.

The petitioner has also pleaded the court to form JIT against all those whose names had appeared in Panama Leaks and taken action against them.
