Inquiry begins against Sheikh Zaid Hospital’s chairman

LAHORE: An inquiry against the current Sheikh Zaid Hospital’s chairman has begun, as instructed by the Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to the details, the paramedical staff and faculty members of the hospital sent a complaint letter regarding the hospital’s chairman Farid Ahmad Khan to the chief minister. As per the letter, the chairman was allegedly involved in several irregularities around the hospital.

The Department of Specialised Health has issued a notice, according to which, a committee has been formed under the supervision of a CMIT member Akbar Ali to investigate the matter.

The applicants have allegedly accused the chairman of hiring people illegally and giving out bogus experience certificates. The application also says that chairman did not take proper permission from the board of governors to form the existing selection committee at the PMDC.
