According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, monsoon currents are penetrating in upper parts of the country and are likely to continue doing so in the next few days.
Rain and thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls are expected at a number of places in upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad and Kashmir, while at scattered places in southern Punjab (D.G. Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal divisions), Zhob, Kalat divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, and Gilgit-Baltistan in the next 24-hours.
Light rain is also expected at a few places along the Sindh coast.
