A three-day anti-polio campaign begins in twelve districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and two tribal agencies today.
More than three point two million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops in Peshawar, Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Batagram, Kohistan, Torghar, Shangla, Swat, Upper & Lower Dir, Chitral districts, Khyber and South Waziristan Agencies.
Meanwhile, a six-day special anti-polio campaign in nine union councils of Khairpur district will also start on Monday.
Over eighteen thousand children will be vaccinated against polio.
Special security measures have been taken to ensure the security of polio teams.
