Neil Gaiman’s book, ‘American Gods’ was taken up for TV in 2017 and has been doing really well. According to reports, it has recently been announced that another of his books, ‘Good Omens,’ which he co-wrote with late Terry Pratchett, has been picked up for a possible TV series as well.
Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens is now in pre-production with filming due to begin in late summer. The news has just been confirmed by Neil Gaiman himself in a Facebook post.
The majority of the shoot will take place in the UK with around a month in South Africa at the end. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime before airing on BBC Two.
It is a joint production of Narrativia (the production company established by Pratchett in 2012), Gaiman’s The Blank Corporation, Amazon Studios and BBC Studios.
The show is being penned by Gaiman and is based on the original book published in 1990 which the pair co-wrote.
