MRP system set up at Pakistan’s embassy in Senegal

ISLAMABAD: The Machine Readable Passport (MRP) System has been inaugurated at the Embassy of Pakistan in Dakar, Senegal.

According to a message received from Dakar, Senegal on Wednesday, Ambassador of Pakistan to Senegal Muhammad Imran Mirza welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of machine-readable passport for Pakistanis in Senegal. On this occasion, a large number of Pakistani community members living in Senegal attended the function.

It is pertinent to mention here that Muhammad Husnain Shah, Technical Officer (MRP/MRV) was deputed from 4 to 18 June 2017 to deploy the MRP System, who successfully installed the system and trained the Embassy staff to operate the MRP System independently.

The guests expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan High Commission for introducing this facility.
