Mouni Roy, Indian TV’s most pouplar ‘naagin’ is over the moon after landing her very first role in Indian cinema along with Akshay Kumar in ‘Gold‘.
Roy has been auditioning for movies for quite some time but without any major luck. She was not getting the kind of roles she wanted but now has finally signed the film which is being produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani and directed by Reema Kagti. The actor is too excited and reportedly cannot wait for the film shooting to start.
In an interview to a daily, Mouni, visibly excited about her new role, said that it was as good as it gets and she was excited to be a part of this project. She said that destiny had a major part in her bagging this role and that everything happens for a reason.
