Sindh govt launches schemes to tackle deforestation

KARACHI: The Sindh government has launched various schemes to tackle deforestation in the province.

Radio Pakistan quoting official sources said that mangrove plantation at thirty-seven thousand acres of coastal land has been completed to stop sea erosion in the province.

Sources said over four hundred million rupees will be spent for the revival of forestry during the current financial year.
