Indian troops martyr two more Kashmiris in IOK

Indian troops, in Occupied Kashmir, in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youths in Pulwama District on Monday.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the youth identified as Kifayat and Jahangir were killed during violent crackdown operation in Bahmnoo area of the district on Monday. A police spokesman claimed that Kifayat and Jahangir were militants who were killed during an exchange of fire, adding that two more youths were trapped inside the cordon.

Indian forces used brute force and fired bullets and pellets after people staged protest against the crackdown operation in the area. Clashes were reported between Indian forces and protesters till last reports came in. On the other hand, a fast moving vehicle of Indian army hit and killed a contactor Ghulam Hassan at Tappar in Pattan area of Baramulla District.

A policeman and a civilian were injured in an attack at bus stand in Islamabad town, leaving a policeman and a woman injured. Both have been rushed to a hospital for treatment. The condition of injured policeman is stated to be critical. The injured woman was identified as Sumit Kaur. The troops thrashed the pedestrians and drivers after the attack and the whole area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched.
