According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, a shallow westerly wave continues to affect upper parts of the country and is likely to persist over Kashmir and its adjoining areas during the next 48 hours.
Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershowers with gusty winds are expected at a few places in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
