ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hassan Nawaz while speaking to the media after his third appearance before the JIT questioned the charges under which he and his family members are repeatedly being probed by the Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
Hassan also claimed that he had not only answered all the JIT’s questions regarding the properties and companies but had submitted all the relevant documents as well.
“All the companies I own are registered with regulatory and tax authorities in Britain,” Hassan explained.
Hassan also explained that the premier had asked him to appear before the JIT and comply with it whenever summoned but it is his right to know what he is charged with.
“Nawaz Sharif’s children are being used to put pressure on him,” he alleged, adding that the JIT is trying hard to find any tangible evidence against them.
When questioned about whether he would be summoned again by the probe team, Hassan replied in the negative.
This was the PM Nawaz’s younger son’s third appearance before the JIT. He was earlier summoned on June 2 and June 8.
