ISLAMABAD: In order to avoid any unpleasant incident from the female workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the context of Maryam Nawaz’s appearance before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), women police force are deployed outside the Pakistan Judicial Academy.
The JIT has been busy in preparing the questionnaire for the appearance; it is hoped that after Maryam’s appearance the inquiry will be complete by 70 per cent. The JIT chief is also mulling to summon the prime minister again.
Maryam is summoned after her husband, Captain (r) Safdar, failed to satisfy the JIT. The PML-N female wing has also initiated an active campaign on social media in support of Maryam. According to sources in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), this whole Maryam-JIT-appearance episode may lead to an unwanted scenario owing to her party’s female workers.
It is expected that the Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb will handle the question answers from media men in the context of Maryam’s appearance.
Maryam Nawaz has been summoned on July 5 as the JIT is running out of time and it wants to wrap up the inquiry as soon as possible.
