People are very excited to watch the much anticipated Women’s World Cup match between India and Pakistan, with the Indian team looking to keep their unbeaten run against their neighbors alive and the Pakistani team looking to emulate their Male Counterparts.

Earlier in June the Pakistan Men’s Cricket team won the Champion’s Trophy, thrashing their next door neighbors against all odds. Today the Women’s team takes on India in the hope of doing the same. India come in with a slight edge having won all of their ODIs against Pakistan so far, but the Women in Green are highly motivated and prepared to give it their all.
With the Indian fans brimming with confidence, the social media reaction from Pakistan’s side has been next to non-existent. Even so, the Nation is well and truly behind their team.
And result will be same as it was 2 weeks ago #PakvsInd #WWC17

What’s disappointing is that compared to Men’s Cricket, the Women’s World Cup has been given minimal coverage on media outlets, something that has been noticed by people on social media.
Why always men’s cricket…?
Start supporting Women’s cricket too…
They too r doing the same job…

We wish the Green Shirts good luck and hope to see the same scenes from three weeks ago.
