People across Indian-held Kashmir are observing a complete shutdown on Sunday to protest against the killing of four civilians by the occupied forces, the Kashmir Media Service reported.

In a joint statement, All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, senior leader Syed Ali Gilani and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik had condemned the Indian atrocities and given a call for a strike.

On Saturday, a gun battle between separatist and Indian forces left four people, including two civilians, dead and six injured in occupied Kashmir.

The Indian authorities have placed curfew-like restrictions in areas falling under the jurisdiction of Nowhatta, Maharaj Gunj, Rainawari, Khanyar, Safakadal, Maisuma and Kralkhud police stations in Srinagar.

  1. Two very significant news items were noticed on1st June at 9 PM Khabarnama on PTV. Shabaz Sharif’ was addressed as the Wazir e Azam and Pakistan Flag was removed from Kashmir Protests. When will we remove anti Pakistan elements present among us? We know them well yet we don’t act.
