BADIN: The journalists of Badin Press Club, Hyderabad Union of Journalists, Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, Pakistan Press Foundation, Council of Press Clubs Pakistan, International Union of Journalists, Commission of Human Rights and members of civil society have vowed to stand with Raja Shakeel Ghanchi, Badin journalist, who was tortured by local drug peddlers a couple of days ago.
The journalists’ unions of the province and country have appealed to the Sindh chief minister, Sindh IGP and Badin SSP to take an immediate notice of the matter and provide the protection to the journalists. They also vowed to continue their struggle until the arrest of involved drug peddlers.
