SWABI: Mashal Khan, the student from Mardan who was killed on April 13 by a mob on false charges of blasphemy, was planning to write a book, according to his father.
Iqbal Khan was talking to a local media outlet. He also said that the diary in which Mashal was taking notes for the book that he had planned was missing from the luggage that was received by the family.
He said that in the belongings that they received, his laptop, mobile, camera and diary were missing due to unknown reasons.
He said that Mashal was a brilliant student and wanted to rid AWKU of corruption and malpractices which prevailed there. He also said that Mashal made it clear that a fake Facebook account was being operated in his name to defame him.
The Joint investigation team that was investigating the case had stated that Mashal Khan was murdered under a plan, according to his father.
Mashal Khan was a student of AWKU who was brutally beaten up and then killed by a mob of students on April 13, over false charges of blasphemy.
