ISLAMABAD: The India-US nexus could impose sanctions on Pakistan in the future. The US verdict to declare commander Salah-ud-Din as a terrorist was only to please the India. These views were expressed by experts of International Relations (IR) Ex-Ambassadors Aziz Ahmed Khan and Jamil Ahmed Khan respectively during exclusive talks with Online.

Aziz Ahmed Khan said that the US claims to be the champion of human rights but it is ignoring the violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir where innocent civilians were being tortured and detained. The people of Indian Occupied Kashmir would express their severe disapproval of the US verdict.

Commenting on the provision of drone aircraft to India by America, he said that India would use these drones in its coastal boundaries as they are different from the ones America uses in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

Ex-Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan said that the US verdict to declare freedom fighter Salah-ud-Din as a terrorist has weakened the longstanding Kashmir dispute. He expressed his concern that India-US nexus could impose sanctions on Pakistan in future and Pakistan has to be active and dynamic to check the expected sanctions in this regard.

Responding to a question, he said that there are over 100 embassies of Pakistan across the world and they all have to initiate lobbing on Kashmir and overseas Pakistanis have also to play their role to raise the cause of the Kashmiri people. There is a danger of the use of drone aircraft, provided by the US to India, against Pakistan, he said.
