KARACHI: Fire erupted in a department store near Star Gate on Shahra-e-Faisal in the city Thursday (today) morning. As per initial reports of the incident, the fire erupted due to a short-circuit in a generator at the store.
However, three fire tenders reached the site promptly and are trying to control the fire in the generator room so that it does not spread to the area where goods are stored.
Moreover, rescue teams also rushed to the site. No loss of life has been reported yet.
