China, Russia discuss ways to curb N Korea’s nuclear ambitions

China and Russia have discussed a roadmap drafted by Moscow to curb North Korea’s nuclear drive and maintain peace in the region.

This was stated by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang while addressing a press briefing in Beijing. He said China is willing to maintain close communication with Russia to resolve this issue.

The spokesman said China has fully implemented sanctions proposed by UN Security Council against North Korea.
