JIT critics are against Supreme Court: PMLQ leadership

LAHORE/GUJRAT: Pakistan Muslim League (Q) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain and Senior Central Leader and Former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have said that if N-League does not accept the verdict of the court, then the entire nation will be on the roads.

In reply to a question, Ch Shujat Hussain said that JIT is the Supreme Court and those speaking against it are in fact against the Supreme Court which will give its verdict in the interest of the nation and in complete submission to the Almighty Allah.

They expressed these views while talking to the media in Gujrat on the occasion of Eid.

Both leaders offered Eid prayers and prayed Fateha for the departed souls of elders in their ancestral graveyard. Afterwards, they exchanged Eid greetings with people from all walks of life.

Ch Shujat Hussain said that the nation cannot forget the officers martyred in the defence of the country and protection of the people, in the fight against terrorism.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that the entire nation has prayed during Ramzan for the rulers to leave office. He said that Nawaz Sharif wishes to coerce the verdict of the Panama case investigations in his favour.
