Last year the main playing politicians in Pakistan spent their Eid away from home, with Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal and Asif Ali Zardari in London along with Imran Khan celebrating some part of his Eid Festivities there as well.
This year however, an unprecedented Eid was celebrated wherein Pakistan saw these individuals choosing to stay home instead. With PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto with CM Murad Ali Shah, President PPP Sindh Nisar Khuhro, ex-CM Qaim Ali Shah & others offered their Eid Namaz at Garhi Khuda Baksh.

The Prime Minister called his stay in London short this time around and choose to spend his Eid in Pakistan in light of the tragic events in the past week.

The PM spent his time at Ahmedpur East to express his condolences with the victims of the recent Oil Tractor tragedy.

Despite the fact that the past week had been tragic for the country, with the Oil Tanker incident and the twin explosions in Parachinar, the people were still able to make most of their Eid Break and celebrations continued as usual.
