Security beefed up in City after attacks in Quetta, Parachinar

KARACHI: Stringent security measures were being undertaken in Karachi in the wake of terrorist attacks that took place in Quetta and Parachinar on Friday.

According to details, traffic police personnel deployed throughout the city have been armed yet again. Bulletproof jackets and arms have been provided to traffic police officers stationed at various junctions throughout the city.

Security has been increased at the City’s entry points after two bomb attacks on Friday that killed more than 50 people. The Pakistan Army, Rangers and Sindh police officers have been deployed at the Karachi toll plaza to keep a check on the movement of any suspicious persons.

Every vehicle entering the city is being checked by security forces personnel.
