BADIN: The Badin Press Club’s journalists and Pakistan Federation of Journalists (PFUJ) led by Badin Press Club President Tanveer Ahmed Arain have staged a protest demonstration against the registration of the fake and fabricated cases against the senior journalists of Falkara Town, Badin.
Addressing the protesters, Tanveer Arain, Shoukat Memon and others said that the Falkara Police Station’s ASI has registered the false and fabrication cases against the senior journalists, including senior journalist Ghulam Rasul Mazari.
The protestors alleged that the ASI has asked the senior journalists to continue extending favours to them but journalists would not accept his demands as he is protecting drug peddlers, they alleged.
They appealed to the Hyderabad DIG and Badin SSP to take an immediate notice of the matter and initiate the inquiry against the involved ASI Falkara and provide the justice and protection to the senior journalists of district Badin.
