Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reached London on Saturday to celebrate the Eidul Fitr with his family after performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia.
Shortly after reaching London, while addressing the media, he criticised the Panama’s Joint Investigation Team and questioned the creation of such a team.
He said, “I asked the JIT, what was it trying to find as the Panama proceedings elude me”, and claimed that the JIT members could not answer his questions
“I asked the JIT whether the national kitty was being looted, as the JIT proceedings are revolving around our [Sharifs] private businesses only.”
He said, “In 1972 our factory was nationalised,” which Sharif compared to being robbed and said, “We should be asking questions instead of answering them.”
He said, “I don’t care for my wellbeing or my family’s as I have presented myself and my family for accountability.”
PM Nawaz said that during the tenure of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Pakistan’s economy has been stabilised but the frequent opposition sit-ins are hurting it with no regard for the country.
In the by-elections, 95 per cent success belonged to the PML-N. Calling JIT a farce, he said, the country’s time is being wasted in such proceedings.
He said the JIT’s history is in front of everyone; it is distracting the public from the real issues.
The PML-N has been playing its part along with the army to eradicate the evil of terrorism from the country, the premier concluded.
He is expected to stay in London for a few days, where he will also undergo a medical checkup.
Fail to understand his absence from the country on Eid ul Fitr. He could have celebrated EID in Pakistan.
He lives basically in London and comes here only once a while to see if everything is working well for him in his kingdom. Get the statistics of his travel abroad, specially to London, in the last four years and you will be in for a shock about his interest in Pakistan as a Prime Minister.

It is first time in the history of the country, the unthinkable is happening, a JIT with courage, integrity and tenacity is addressing the most crucial life and death issue haunting the country and defiling its democracy for decades.
Nawaz mjrd min almabadi, you have robbed pakistan royally and poor peoples money and they still remain where as you are becoming richer and richer day by day.
DearPM if the JIT search for truth is a farce why waste the the tax payers money since you possess the facts. Any body who acts like the “KING” suffers from the perils of hubris and that hubris is an invitation to the avenging godess called Nemessis(JIT). Either you and Your family are going to be exonerated in the course of a couple of weeks or face the wrath of the country. Until then i would advise you caution.
