SHEIKHUPURA/ LAHORE: At least four persons have been killed, while two others sustained injuries in a traffic collision at Motorway in Sheikhupura area of Punjab.
According to police, six members of the same family were going in a car from Sargodha to Lahore for Eid Shopping early Friday morning when their car collided with a trailer at Sheikhupura Motorway Interchange, leaving four persons dead.
The bodies and injured were rushed to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
Meanwhile, two passenger buses faced a traffic collision at Multan Road area of Lahore early Friday morning leaving 15 persons injured. The injured were rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment; however, 12 among them were discharged after initial medical aid.
Moreover, three injured, including a woman, were referred to Jinnah hospital.
