RAWALPINDI: Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav has lodged a mercy petition to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, asking for forgiveness for his espionage, terrorist, and subversive activities, the ISPR stated the other day.
In his petition, Jadhav has confessed being involved in espionage, terrorist and subversive activities in Pakistan and expressed remorse over the loss of numerous innocent lives and extensive damage to property due to his actions.
He has asked the Chief of Army Staff to spare his life on compassionate and humanitarian grounds, the ISPR said in a statement today.
Jadhav had earlier filed an appeal to the Military Appellate Court, which was rejected. Under Pakistani law, Jadhav has a right to appeal for clemency to the COAS (which he has done) and, if rejected, subsequently to the President of Pakistan.
The ISPR also released a second confessional video of the Indian spy so that the world becomes aware of what India has done and continues to do against Pakistan, the ISPR said.
His mercy petition to Mil Appellate Court was already rejected.

Why continue with this sham trial.
This reminds me of the way a burly police thug, would torture a person to get them to confess anything.
Is this the desperation the pak establishment/army has fallen to.
What a kangaroo court you have, all military laws law less country. You abducted jadav from here in Iran and now you claim he was in baloch what a joke. Your almakshi and mithli aljins pak army is shameless.
