HYDERABAD: The management of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has set up a rain emergency centre during Monsoon 2017.
The HESCO spokesman informed here on Thursday that besides addressing the issues of consumers at the rain emergency centre, the technical staff will be available along with the required tools and machinery at the offices of all operating divisions and sub-divisions of HESCO in order to ensure prompt response during rain emergency.
The HESCO spokesman also issued cautions to consumers with requests to follow the advice of HESCO not to touch the electric poles and electrical appliances during rain showers or in rainwater accumulated areas.
He also advised the consumers to report their complaints at Helpline 118 or telephone numbers respective divisions and sub-divisions which are printed on their electricity bills. The consumers could also contact at phone number: 022-9260014 or cellphone numbers: 0340-8886074 and 0340-8886075 for registration of their complaints at the rain emergency centre, the spokesman concluded.
