5 booked for allegedly removing woman’s kidney

LAHORE: A case has been registered by a woman named Balqees Bibi against five persons who had allegedly kidnapped her and removed her kidney two months ago in Lahore.

The unidentified kidnappers dropped the victim off in an unconscious condition at Thokar Niaz Baig.

Balqees Bibi belonging to Pakpattan had come to Lahore to see her daughter some two months ago. The victim claimed that she was on her way to Lahore by bus when a passenger named Siddique offered her a job,  to which she agreed. The woman reached the fixed place at Food Street Anarkali next day where Siddique was already present.

Meanwhile,  when two persons in a car approached,  Balqees and Siddique got into the vehicle. Thereafter, the three rendered her unconscious. When she woke up, she found fresh stitches on the right side of her abdomen. They detained the woman for two days and dropped her off at Thokar Niaz Baig the very next day.

The victim Balqees filed an application against the culprits involved in stealing her kidney after two months with the old Anarkali police. A case has been registered against Siddique, Mohammad Hussain, Rashid Hussain, Shaukat Hussain and Sharif.
