Karachi: Fashion designer Anam Salman, a graduate from the prestigious Asian Institute of Fashion Design, unveiled her limited Eid collections Chimera and Khayal here in the metropolitan at Brands Just Pret in Dolmen City Mall, Clifton. The event was attended by members of the press, social media influencers and celebrities including Zeba Bakhtiar, Javed Miandad, Hira Hussain, Amanat Ali, Nouman Habib, Jiya Ali, Shazia Naaz, Najaf Bilgrami and many other socialites.
Chimera is inspired by Anam Salman’s imagination which brings forward a collection full of exquisite patterns and bold looks and colour schemes, unique cuts and design aesthetics. Chimera has a classic touch with modern sensibilities, giving all the outfits a unique and contemporary look. The fabric used in this collection is luxurious and pure silk. With delicate embroideries and fine craftsmanship, Chimera is the must have collection for the contemporary woman’s closet who wants to stand out from the crowd.
Khayal, on the other hand, is about festivities and celebrations. The collection is all about vibrant colours, stunning embroidery and dynamic designs. The collection is inspired by the spirit and happiness that eid brings and the designs are created specifically to transform the festive mood into the outfits.
Anam Salman is a budding fashion designer with a degree in fashion design from the prestigious Asian Institute of Fashion Design. Her passion for fashion started when she was in Karachi American School and she started her career in 2013 after graduating from AIFD.
Anam Salman focuses on haute couture and luxury prêt and draws inspiration from traditional sensibilities and glory of the past.
