90’s kids have grown up with witnessing the shenanigans of the brothers Drake and Josh. The duo itself has always maintained the persona of brotherhood off-screen, with them often reminiscing about their days onscreen together on social media.
This relationship seems to have been strained, however, over the course of the last weekend. While one half of the famous Nickelodeon duo married longtime girlfriend Paige O’Brien in Malibu on Saturday, the other half wasn’t among the family and friends celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Peck.
Drake allegedly shared his pain with the world in series of, since then deleted, tweets.
This became a deeply sad development, especially considering that the duo had shared a throwback picture of their days onscreen only a week before the controversy.

Fans too, quickly took notice and wondered why Bell was not there to take part in the festivities.
Drake Bell not being invited to Josh Peck’s wedding made me lose faith in lasting friendships. ?

My dad is sad today because Josh Peck got married this weekend and didn’t invite Drake Bell and he thought they were supposed to be brothers

One of the fans had a theory as to why the incident turned to controversy.
Josh Peck didn’t invite Drake Bell to his wedding… Only one person can be responsible for such evil. pic.twitter.com/fo5ZFaTAa0

Hopefully, this incident is only a short-lived strain and the duo will remain brotherhood “goals” for us all. We should soon see them in arms again like the brothers they played onscreen.
