A westerly wave is expected to affect most upper and central parts of the country from Monday evening and likely to persist till Thursday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted. Moreover, moist currents are entering from the Arabian Sea into upper and central parts of the country on Monday.
Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country within the next twenty-four hours. However, rain and dust-thundershower with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, D.G.Khan, Multan, Faisalabad, D.I. Khan, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat divisions, FATA, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
Light rain and drizzle are expected at a few places along the Sindh coast.
