Head of Pakistan’s military’s media wing, Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted pictures of jubilant fans in Balochistan and Srinagar. However, DG ISPR categorically told the ‘concerned’ parties to ‘lay off.’

“And this is our Balochistan. “To whom it may concern”. Lay off,” he wrote on Twitter.

According to Pakistan, India is behind the various separatist movements in Balochistan. In his Independence Day speech last year, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed his support for ‘freedom’ for Balochistan in strong words.

There were celebrations all around as Pakistan won the Champions Trophy final against India last night. People from all over the world shared pictures of celebration on social media and came out on streets to celebrate the emphatic win against the arch rivals.
