LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Monday announced that 1230 megawatts electricity will be generated from Haveli Bahadur Shah gas power plant.The minister stated this while paying a visit to Haveli Bahadur Shah, a small town in Jhang, to review the construction process. He also held a meeting with the engineers and the other working staff.
Sharif expressed satisfaction over the ongoing construction and appreciated team efforts. He stated that the power plant will start trial production beginning today. The plant will be able to produce 750 megawatts power in a week, he added. He said that the project will prove significant in the eradication of electricity load shedding from the country.
