Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities that no load shedding should be done during ICC Champions Trophy Final between Pakistan and India scheduled to be held on June 18 on Sunday.
Orders have been issued from PM Nawaz that mega event final between Pakistan and India should not be disrupted due to load shedding.
The Water and Power Ministry has summoned details from power distribution companies regarding the supply, demand and shortfall of electricity.
The ministry has also submitted a reply to the PM that the match will not be disrupted due to power outages.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday expressed confidence that there would be no load shedding after November this year.
He stated this while addressing a ceremony held here between Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Economic Affairs Division.
