The holidays of Rawalpindi Police have been cancelled till Eid-ul-Fitr and ban has been imposed on their transfers.
According to reports, the holidays of police have been cancelled till Eid in the perspective of security situation and security in Rawalpindi city has been beefed up. Under the security arrangements the policemen have been deployed on duty for protection of faithful during Taraveeh timings and the citizens during shopping in markets.
On the other hand, a ban has been imposed on transfers of police officers during this time period and official staff has been deployed on duties at different security points.
