ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is appearing before Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT). Sharif reached the Federal Judicial Academy earlier in a three-vehicle convoy.
Earlier, the PM chaired a high-level consultative session where Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan were in attendance.
Dar briefed the premier over the documents he will be taking along with him, informed sources.
The JIT is probing the premier’s family’s global money and businesses in light of the Supreme Court’s April 20 judgment in the Panama Papers case.
