LAHORE: The stabbing victim, Khadija Siddiqui, along his sister got their statements recorded before a local court against accused Shah Hussain.

Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hussain recorded statements of Khadija Siddiqui and her six-year-old sister Sofia.

In her statement, Khadija said that the accused attacked her while she was sitting in a car after picking her sister up from school. She said that the accused stabbed her 23 times besides injuring her younger sister. She said that she identified the accused after his helmet dropped during the attack.

At this stage, on a question of prosecution, accused’s father objected and an exchange of harsh words also took place.

However, the court adjourned the further hearing after recording the statement of Khadija’s minor sister, who also confirmed that the accused stabbed her sister and also injured her.

It is pertinent to mention here that LHC Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah took administrative notice of Khadija stabbing case, a few days ago and directed judicial magistrate to hear the trial on daily basis and conclude it in 30 days.

On May 3, 2016, Khadija was allegedly stabbed 23 times by her classmate, Shah Hussain, at Lahore’s Davis Road. Over a year since the horrific incident, she still awaits justice and appeals to society to raise its voice for her.

  1. InshaAllah the Day is very near when the criminal will be convicted and imprisoned for life. That Day will mark the beginning of a bright era for our justice system where no one can get away with his crime.
I see a very bright Pakistan in these young lawyers supporting khadija cause. May Allah Pak bless you all with his countless bounties. Long live Pakistan
