KARACHI: Police have detained more than 45 suspects in several raids carried out in Karachi late the other day. The detainees are alleged of involvement in various crimes.
The law enforcers also conducted search operations in various areas of Karachi.
At least nine suspects were arrested from the areas around Madina Colony, Saeedabad and Manghopir. In addition, two muggers were apprehended from Tower, police said.
According to police reports, suspects were involved in the burglary of shops.
In another raid in Soldier Bazar, police detained ten suspects.
Officials stated that they are verifying identities of arrested suspects and checking for any criminal record.
