Who is at fault for the fact that we’re facing this hide and seek of electricity? The present government came with the slogan to end this load shedding within six months. Four years passed but the problem still exists. The jin of electricity, it appears, is out of the Ministry of Water and Power’s bottle. In Karachi we face 8 to 10 hours of load shedding and sometime we bear 12 to 14 hours shutdown in the name of maintenance and repair. Almost every day we see that our present government is trying to justify its side by giving silly reasons to the nation. Load shedding is not just a problem of Karachi but the people of their own city Lahore are facing this difficulty as well. What is the Minister of Water and Power waiting for? Is he waiting for some miracle? Sorry to say miracles don’t happen these days. May Allah grant them the wisdom to change things.
