MIRPURKHAS: The Mirpurkhas Police claimed to have arrested 57 accused and recovered arms, liquor, drugs and other prohibited items from their possession in last few days.
According to a press release issued here on Monday, the police during the crackdown against criminals arrested 15 absconders and 42 other accused.
Police also recovered five unlicensed pistols, 18 rounds, 3350 litres of liquor, 1490 grammes of hashish and 2026 packets of gutka from the possession of arrested accused.
The actions were taken in the areas, including Garibabad, Sindhri, Mehmoodabad, Old Mirpur Mehran, Jhuddo, Satellite Town, Naukot, Tando Jan Muhammad and others.
