Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Prime Minister has decided to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing Panama Papers case in respect of apex court.
Talking to news persons in Islamabad on Monday, she said Nawaz Sharif had launched the movement for the independence and restoration of judiciary in the past.
The Minister of State said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz believes in supremacy of law and constitution and Prime Minister will go to JIT for the dignity of people.
She said Chairman PTI Imran Khan is making false claims and escaping from appearing before the courts and Election Commission in cases against him.
Speaking on this occasion, MNA Talal Chaudhry said Prime Minister is working for the development of the country and prosperity of the people.
He said Prime Minister will make a history by testifying before JIT on Thursday.
It is not for the prime minister to decide, he has to come as ordered (not requested), Like any Pakistani citizen, he has to obey the law, if he does not, he cannot be priminister, as plain and simple as that.
