LAHORE: A Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MNA’s tweeted yesterday in which he said that if any harm came to him it would be due to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Imran Khan had immediately responded by tweeting: “PTI will not remain a silent bystander if anything untoward happens to our MNA. We will respond.”

According to reports however, the MNA did this to gain sympathies of party leader as folk singer Attaullah Eisa Khailvi was emerging as a strong candidate for NA-172 ticket in the next election.

PTI MPAs Ahmad Khan Bachhar (PP-45) and Muhammad Sibtain Khan (PP-46), elected from the areas falling under NA-172, did not know that the MNA was receiving threats.
Also, no report has been filed by Amjad Khan in this respect.
