KARACHI: The Karachi police claimed to have arrested a suspect wanted in a murder case of a retired army officer.
On a tip-off, the Special Investigation Unit personnel raided a house in Korangi Pul area on Sunday and arrested the suspect identified as Sarfaraz.
According to police, the retired major was gunned down by Sarfaraz after he resisted against a robbery bid. One accomplice of the suspect was killed in a police encounter.
