Indian troops martyr Kashmiri youth in IOK, raising toll to 7

SRINAGAR: Indian troops, in Indian occupied Kashmir have martyred a Kashmiri youth in Bandipora district the other day, raising the toll of martyrs in fake encounters in the territory to seven since Friday.

The Indian troops martyred the Kashmiri youth during a military operation in Bandipora’s Gurez area. The troops had killed six youth during a similar operation in Uri area of Baramulla district, Friday evening.

A siege and search operation was also launched in Vessu area of Islamabad district following an attack on the convoy of Indian paramilitary force. One person was reportedly injured during the exchange of firing between the attackers and the troops.

Indian forces conducted a cordon and search operation in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk area. Indian army personnel damaged several residential houses in Shopian’s Narpora area following youth pelting stone on their vehicles.
