KARACHI: The Bureau of Supply and Prices director has expressed displeasure over violation of terms and conditions laid down by the Bureau of Supply and Prices by the organisers of weekly bachat bazaars, and issued show cause notices to five bazaars.
The organisers of the Bachat bazaars which are served notice are located at Lines Area, Aladin Park, Malir Halt, Pehlwan Goth and Darakshan Society-Kaala Board Malir.
The director issued notices after paying surprise visits to different weekly bachat bazaars in Karachi.
The team inspected the availability of essential commodities at an accurate weight and at the notified price list issued by the Karachi commissioner.
