The Punjab government will construct a Safari Park in Jallo and funds for this purpose have been allocated.
According to official sources here on Thursday, Punjab Forest Department has also designated an area for the project. Citizens will be able to enjoy a variety of animals in Jallo Park as a new Safari Park is going to be built there.
An amount of Rs 70 million has been allocated by the Punjab government for this project initially. According to details, a tiger as well as a lion safari will be constructed on an area of seven acre each.
A budget of Rs 390 million has been estimated to complete project and this project will complete by year 2019, the sources added.
