Former cricketing legends Stephen Fleming and Michael Vaughan have lauded the performance of Fakhar Zaman during his debut one-day international match against South Africa in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Zaman, who scored a quick 31 off 23 balls, retained an notable strike rate of 134 with six boundaries, earning the praise of cricketing legends on Twitter.

Similarly, former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming expressed his disbelief at the talent of the 27-year-old batsman.

Zaman was handed his Pakistan cricket team cap by Shoaib Malik prior to the match against South Africa in Birmingham, marking his ODI debut.
