Sindh govt praised for regularising 24,000 LHW’s

KARACHI: The All Sindh Lady Health Workers Employees Union has hailed the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announcement, in his budget speech, of including 24,000 Lady Health Workers (LHWs) and other staff in Sindh Service.

President of the union, Haleema Zulqarnain, on Wednesday expressed gratitude over this decision, and also expressed gratitude for Health Minister Sikandar Mahendro, the health secretary and finance secretary for their cooperation.

LHWs, from across the province, has appreciated the Sindh government’s decision, she remarked. “It is a good initiative by the Sindh government to include lady health workers in Sindh service book,” she added.
