Minister hails Sindh’s ‘people-friendly’ budget

SUKKUR: Sindh Industries Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan has hailed the budget for the fiscal year 2017-18.

Talking to a delegation at his residence, on Wednesday, he was of the view that the budget would help enhance investment and lead to progress and prosperity.

The Sindh budget is people-friendly and would lead to development in the province.

He further pointed out that the people would get relief. He said that adequate amount in the budget has been allocated for health, education, agriculture industry and for the creation of employment opportunities. He said that the budget would also contribute to an increase in investment and create job opportunities.

He also hailed the government for increasing fifteen per cent salaries of government employees as well as steps introduced for the welfare of low-income groups and felicitated the government for presenting the people-friendly budget.

He said that the budget is very much in accordance with the aspirations of the people, especially traders, businessmen, industrialists, students and women.
